Life in the fast lane

Yesterday my little one turned 5 months old. It really is amazing how the time has flown by. When I was pregnant, time seemed to slow down and creep by. I remember when we found out, I couldn't wait to start showing. Once I started showing, I couldn't wait to feel the baby kick. Once that happened, I couldn't wait to be big and round. Once my belly was nice and big, I couldn't wait for labor to start (really? I couldn't wait to be in pain?!?!?! Pregnant women are NUTS!). It seemed like it took so long to get from the starting line to the finish line, but once we got there our new journey has taken off and will not slow down.

Granted, we have had a lot going on since Evalynn was born. We went up North to spend Thanksgiving with Chris' sister and mom. We celebrated Christmas four times, once at our house, then at Chris' grandparents, with my mom, and finally with Kayla's Aunt Jessica and Uncle David and her cousins. All the while we have been planning our wedding and trying to finish up with all the details. Now we are pretty entrenched in the final details of our wedding.

I have been checking things off my list over the past couple weeks. It's hard to believe our wedding is in 6 weeks!I still have so much to do! These next 6 weeks will be interesting for sure!
